In week 15 of our series on the Gospel of Mark, Pastor Kevin Queen shares two stories from Mark – two powerful moments where fear meets faith. In both stories, Jesus isn’t shaken. He’s sovereign.
Even with Jesus right beside them, the disciples panicked in the face of a storm. Jesus doesn’t run from storms or chaos. He speaks peace over them and brings restoration.
Fear can either shrink our faith or lead us straight into the arms of the One who calms the storm. Jesus wants us to step out of our comfort zone, so we can grow.
So – how do we respond during a storm? What if that fear is the very place Jesus wants to show us His power?
